Women’s rights. You have heard that phrase before. The thought behind the phrase is applied in many ways, one of which is women having the “right” to murder their unborn babies through abortion. Women do not have the right to murder another human being. Murder is forbidden by God. And this kind of murder has self-inflicting consequences for the mother, though abortion clinics say that abortions are not harmful to women. The mother who aborts her child will run a serious risk of having problems, not only physically, but mentally as well, for the rest of her life. Abortion is a sickening, heartless procedure that murders babies and harms mothers. Discussed next are the realities of abortion.
Abortion is murder. It is the murder of a baby by his own mother. It is murder of a human being created in God’s own image. A baby is not a problem to be disposed of, he is a child to be loved and cherished. Murder of the child is not a solution. Murder of the child will only be the beginning of a lifelong death decision that cannot be reversed.
Murder of the unborn child does not solve any problems for the mother. In fact, abortion forces a mother onto the path to problems. There are two victims of abortion: the murdered child and the mother of the child. Abortion creates major health problems for the mother, such as
“minor infections, bleeding, fevers, chronic abdominal pain, gastro-intestinal disturbances, vomiting, and Rh sensitization. The nine most common “major” complications are infection, excessive bleeding, embolism, anesthesia complications, convulsion, hemorrhage, cervical injury and endotoxic shock.” – Abortion website.
The mental struggles for mothers who murder their babies are just as serious as the health struggles. A woman’s motherly instinct and nature come out strong after an abortion, and the reminder of what they have done to their child haunts them. It is a lifelong heartache, weighing heavily on their heart and mind.
Methods of abortion are utterly sickening. Abortion clinics, however, speak of abortions and the effects of abortions in very mild terms. Websites list abortions procedures as if they were merely naming off a list of foods. These methods of murder are called “minor operations.” There is nothing minor about them, for the baby or for the mother!! Furthermore, abortion clinics will use the phraseology “remove the pregnancy”, referring to pregnancy as being a sickness. Pregnancy is a blessing from God, not a sickness!
Abortion, i.e., murder, is not a right. It kills babies and hurts mothers. Dr. Seuss once told us, “A person is a person no matter how small.” How true.
